• Meal Information: We collect meal descriptions and photos that you submit for calorie estimation. This information is processed by third-party services as described below.
• Feedback: If you choose to send feedback, we collect the text you provide. This is stored on our secure Supabase backend.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

• To provide the core functionality of the App, including calculating your BMR, TDEE, and personalized calorie goals.
• To process your meal descriptions and photos via the Google Gemini API for the sole purpose of calorie estimation. We do not store this information long-term on our servers.
• To analyze and respond to the feedback you provide via Supabase to improve the App.

3. Data Storage and Security

All of your personal and health-related data (profile, daily logs, meal history) is stored exclusively on your local device. We do not have access to this information.

We are committed to protecting your data. Feedback data sent to Supabase is transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption.

4. Third-Party Services

Smart BMR uses the following third-party services to provide its features:

• Google Gemini API: For AI-powered calorie estimation from text and images.
• Supabase: For securely storing user-submitted feedback.

These third-party services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
